TeaM Challenge 2003

The contest as part of a national movement dedicated to the anniversary of John von Neumann organized by Neumann Computer Society. The goal of the game is to introduce the countries of the European Union, their nations, culture, art, economy, and laws through serious but playful competitive tasks, using mainly the services provided by the Internet. The TEAM lab of the Informatics Methodology group of ELTE TTK collected the exercises on the score of professional and didactical experiences of many years, according to the age-speciality of competitors and the opportunities of the technical tools.

Poem empire

The poem empire includes poems, tales and media elements for elementary school students. Later it will be possible to search in the collected data. The pages aim to introduce young readers to writing tales and poems and the different methods of self-expression with different tools of the media. It intends to stimulate the gladness of creation with regular contests and tender callings, and also to enrich the sites with the kid’s works.

Imagine website

Imagine is a kind of authoring system, which handling is easy for everybody and helps to concentrate to the contents and message during the work. Most of the opportunities do not need programming skills. It gives everybody the opportunity to paint, animate, web-edit, create logo and multimedia elements, sound-edit, model, exchange viewpoint, make presentations, create projects, write programs, checkup the work, control data, write music, but it also gives chance to make an interactive, broadband connection.

Editing HTML for beginners

The “Editing HTML for beginners” site is for those who want to create an own homepage, and like to get to know the HTML language. Besides the material, the site includes exercises, methodology descriptions and gives chance to try the learnt knowledge. Besides the help the site includes lots of helpful – necessary for homepage making – tools.
